West Highland Terrier or Westie Dog Information
Commonly referred to as Westies or West Highland Terriers, this breed of dog is hardy and compact. Their attentive dark eyes are fairly set back into their skull. They are most well-known for their straight white coat, which is about 4cm thick along with a soft undercoat.
Westies are known to be naturally muscular with a deep chest, along with a scissor shaped bite.
West Highland Terrier/Westie Temperament
Westie temperaments vary as they are such a 'common' breed. They have high self esteem and are fairly energetic, but not overly. Westies are generally an easy breed to train and love human contact.
